Stephanie joins the Global Water Futures Program from the east coast where she was the communications coordinator for the Canadian Rivers Institute (University of New Brunswick, UNB) and previously the director of the freshwater protection program for the Conservation Council of New Brunswick. Stephanie graduated from UNB in 2009 with a MSc. in Forestry and Environmental Management and in 2004 with a BSc. in Biology (Aquatic Ecology). She has extensive experience in knowledge mobilization and water policy while working alongside rural and urban watershed groups, indigenous and settler community organizations, academic scientists and government departments. She is currently an appointed member of the minister’s working group on watershed management in New Brunswick.
