Water Experience

Aster Tesfaye Hordofa is a lecturer/researcher in Water Resources and Irrigation Engineering at the Water Technology Institute, Arba Minch University, Ethiopia. Aster Joined Arba Minch Water Technology Institute as a lecturer in Water Resources and Irrigation Engineering in August 2013. Currently, she graduated Ph.D. in Hydrology and Water Resources Management from Africa Center of Excellence for Water Management, Addis Ababa University. Aster has applied python, and models such as AquaCrop, (Arc)APEX, NAM, (Q)GIS, SWAT+ model, and other tools for her Ph.D. research, which focused on Climate change trends and its impacts on agro-hydrology in rift valley Lake Basin of Ethiopia.
