"My lived experience in rural Nepal provided me with a deeper understanding of interrelated socio-economic and environmental challenges and positive synergies in poverty-stricken areas."

Water Experience

I have worked in water, sanitation and development policy and collective action for 17 years and am currently Senior Specialist for Global Process at the Global Water Partnership. I was previously employed as Director of Policy and Programmes at the World Water Council, where I worked extensively on conceptualizing and supporting multi-stakeholder change processes through the triennial World Water Forums. I also held the Vice Chairmanship for the Global Framework on Water Scarcity in Agriculture (WASAG). Both American and French, I have an undergraduate degree from the Johns Hopkins University (Baltimore, USA) and a Masters in Global Development Management from the Open University (UK). I have been especially interested in gender and inclusion throughout my career, have served on the Steering Committee of the Gender and Water Alliance, and recently curated and reported on the Thematic Day on Inclusion at the COP27 Water Pavilion.
