Water Experience

Throughout my career as an educator, engineer and researcher, I've dedicated myself to pioneering sustainable water treatment solutions that directly contribute to gender equity in access to clean water. My work, particularly in developing sustainable water and wastewater treatment technologies, has had a tangible impact on communities, ensuring women and girls, who are often disproportionately affected by water scarcity and quality issues, have improved access to safe water. This not only supports their health and wellbeing but also empowers them by reducing the time spent collecting water, thereby enabling greater opportunities for education and economic participation.
