"I am committed to visiting the river as often as I write about it"

Water Experience

By age four, I had worn out my rubber boots hunting tadpoles. Since then, I have worn out many boots, acquiring a Bachelor of Science in Freshwater Sciences at UBC and a Masters of Environment and Sustainability at USASK. I have run student water networks and qualitative workshops. I also worked in agronomy on spills and reclaimed well sites. I maintain an interdisciplinary approach to water, searching the liminal space between theory, physical science, and Indigenous ways of knowing for context-based solutions. I find purpose in building ‘bridges.’ Currently, I live in Saskatchewan and manage the Integrated Modelling Program for Canada.
