The GWF Young Professionals are soliciting applications for Travel Grants worth up to $500 each to cover travel costs associated with presenting GWF-related research at conferences and meetings. Up to 31 awards (worth a total of $15,500) will be available during the 2022-2023 academic year and will be spread out over three calls for applications.

Successful applicants will be requested to provide a brief summary (less than one page) to the GWF YP executives summarizing the event and conference attendees’ engagement with the research presented.
The applications will be reviewed by a committee composed of the GWF YP executives and Stacey Dumanski (Outreach Coordinator). Personal identifiers will be removed from each application prior to review to prevent bias. Applications will be evaluated based on:
The Travel Grant program aligns with the priorities of the #GWFEDI 2021-2023 Strategy to increase education and training opportunities for GWF-YP and reduce the financial burden of participation in events that support career development.
