IMPC 4th (Virtual) Annual Meeting
This event has now concluded.
Wednesday, 16 June 2021
Due to continued challenges posed by the COVID-19 situation, we opted this year to do a workshop in two parts in lieu of our traditional annual meeting format.
The two parts of the workshop are set up to be complementary, however, you can still attend either workshop if you can only make it to one. If you'd like to attend both workshops please remember to individually register for both.
Future Scenarios for Water Risks
9:30-11:45 AM CST
In this workshop, you will learn about the range of future climate and policy scenarios that IMPC has developed to address water-related risks across Canada. Participate in a sorting activity to help us understand how to group the scenarios for future modelling. Once you register, you will receive optional preparation materials up to one week in advance.
Visualization Think Tank: Visualizing Scenarios for Decision-Support
2:00-3:30 PM CST
In this workshop, we will focus on visualization pathways for scenarios of interest derived from workshop part 1. You will learn about the various visualization tools that are currently being developed in IMPC followed by a discussion on how they can be used to support decision-making in the Saskatchewan River Basin. Next, will walk you through a guided tour of the Decision-Support System with polls where you can provide direct input on what our Decision-Support System should look like. Once you register, you will receive links and a short video tour of the tools to view ahead of time, if you wish.
