Zhenhua Li received his bachelor and master degrees in atmospheric sciences from Peking University, Beijing, China. He received his doctoral degree in atmospheric sciences at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His PhD work focused on atmospheric dynamics involving fine-scale gravity waves. His current research interest includes regional climate modelling and downscaling, drought and precipitation extremes.
