The first-ever National Flood Forecasting meeting began a dialogue between professionals in Canada to demonstrate the capability of Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) predication systems, while highlighting new and important research in the area of flood and hydrology forecasting.

Operations Team Meeting - January 21-23, 2019

This meeting brought together the GWF operations team together to review collective progress towards our goals, discuss the science directions and operations of the GWF program.

Inaugural Annual Science Meeting - June 3-6, 2018

This comprehensive water conference brought together the broader Canadian water community like never before with over 400 people convening from across Canada and internationally. Hosted by McMaster University and Six Nations of the Grand River, the event included land-based knowledge exchange activities and 160 presentations by academics, students, researchers, Indigenous knowledge holders, policy makers, managers and communicators. 

Inception Meeting - January 21-23, 2018

Over 80 researchers, support staff, principal investigators, project managers and secretariat were in attendance to discuss progress and future plans.
