Fuad specializes in hydrology and water resources management. He holds M.Sc. in Sustainable Water Resources from ETH, Zurich, and B.Sc. in Hydraulic Engineering from Arbaminch University, Ethiopia and has more than three years of work, education, and research experience on hydrological and groundwater modelling, and climate change impact studies on water resources. Fuad current research focuses on large-scale hydrological modeling of the Saskatchewan River Basin under climate and environmental changes. Parts of his research specifically include improving water management representation in modeling framework and enhancing model parametrization using water storage observation from GRACE satellite.
