Transitions: Art-Science Project on Climate Change

2020 exhibit is set to open on March 5th in Canmore, Alberta

This exhibition is showing at the Three Sisters Gallery, the Canmore Civic Centre, and artsPlace in Canmore, Alberta

For Gennadiy Ivanov, the Transitions Project is a deep collaboration with Professor John Pomeroy of the University of Saskatchewan and the Canmore Coldwater Laboratory, and Professor Trevor Davies of the University of East Anglia, UK.

"Western Canada is suffering some of the most pronounced impacts of climate change on the planet. Artists can play an important role in raising awareness, drawing in new audiences and participants, and helping to inspire action so that… we can avoid the very worst consequences of human-induced climate change." ~ Gennadiy Ivanov
